DRS Technologies, Inc. a Finmeccanica Company announced that DRS Consolidated Controls, Inc. (DRS-CCI), a DRS Technologies business unit, unveiled a new line of Pressure and Differential Pressure Transmitters. Featuring a longer product life, these transmitters eliminate the need for frequent replacement, streamlining scheduled plant outages and reducing the total cost of ownership.

DRS Consolidated Controls to Develop Linear and Rotary Electro-Mechanical Actuators for Next-Generation Ohio Replacement Program

(CCI) business unit has been awarded a contract by General Dynamics Electric Boat to design, manufacture and test prototype linear and rotary electro-mechanical actuators and controllers for the Ohio Replacement Program (ORP), the next generation of submarines that will replace the Navy’s Ohio class.

(DRS-CCI) has been re-certified as a supplier of safety-related instrumentation and controls equipment to nuclear power plants. As a result of an independent industry audit, DRS-CCI’s Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA) Management System continues to comply with the requirements of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
